Good news! Youth Service America has now posted information on Global Youth Service Day at http://www.gysd.org/. You'll find information on grants available for student-led projects and also post your activities. This nationally recognized day of service celebrates the mobilization of students who are changing their communities through service. If you and your student participants are conducting service activities within your community for this national day of service, you'll be interested in this website.
Don't forget to register your project at www.volunteerlouisiana.org also! Through this website you can also be able to recruit volunteers and track your service hours.
